General Mills - Pet Division Workplace Branding

During General Mills’ headquarters redesign for hybrid work, the Blue Buffalo/Pet Division—newly integrated and sharing a floor with North American Food, needed an environment that felt warm, authentic, and seamlessly aligned with the larger workplace vision.

The Approach

We approached the space with empathy and flexibility to honor Blue Buffalo’s roots while welcoming its transition into the General Mills family.

  • Drew inspiration from the Wilton, Connecticut headquarters, incorporating familiar textures and brand cues to help relocated employees feel at home.

  • Infused the environment with natural materials and organic imagery, reflecting Blue Buffalo’s emphasis on authenticity, nature, and care.

  • Used modular, easily updatable materials (SEG fabric, vinyl, Sintra, glass decals) to allow for future pet brand additions under the General Mills umbrella.

My Role

Led concept development and environmental design, collaborating with workplace strategy and production teams to bring the brand’s story to life within the new hybrid office.
